The tour starts by picking you up from Thessaloniki and driving 45 min to ancient Pella and Vergina.
We are visiting the new Aigai museum with the views of Alexander palace and getting an insight into how Macedonians and Greeks they became a mighty power.
We are visiting the underground Royal tombs museum with the marble – palace like tombs of Philipp II father of Alexander and taking photos of his Golden suit of armor and all the golden artifacts and the tomb of the young prince Alexander VI son of Alexander the Great.
We are taking the car up to the new discovered Palace of Philipp II and Alexander the Great and walk in the amazing Royal mosaics.
Duration of the tour : 6 hours. Touring fees : 150 euro per person.
The touring fees include transportation from Thessaloniki, touring all the ancient sites above of two major museums and 3 ancient sites. What it doesn’t include is the museum entrance ticket (25
euro unified ticket for all sites).
Note: The tour to be booked by itself has a minimum number of participants 4 people.
